Team Michigan 2010 was a group of 3 women competing in the Air Race Classic 2010.
The 2010 Air Race Classic will be from June 22nd to June 25. Team Michigan will fly from Fort Meyers, FL to Fredrick, MD. They'll be stopping at locations along the way and competing with other teams from around the country, and the world.
The women of Team Michigan are Pam Palmieri, Rebecca Duggan, and Rosemary Sieracki. They are all flying enthusiasts and active in the community promoting aviation safety and education with a focus on women and youth.
The Ninety-Nines, Inc. is an international organization of over 5500 women pilots in 35 countries. nine
ty-nines.org The purpose of the organization is to promote fellowship among women pilots and provide aviation scholarship opportunities for women. In 2009, the Amelia Earhart Memorial scholarships were given to 26 women and totaled more than $100,000. Pam, Rebecca and Rosemary are all active members of the Michigan Chapter of the organization.
